Terms and Conditions

Weddings

  1. The acceptance of the booking outlined on the booking form once completed is based on agreement by the client of the terms and conditions stated herein.
  2. All original negative/electronic materials remain the property of the photographer.
  3. The price of the wedding album is guaranteed at the time of booking to the bride and groom provided that it is ordered and paid for on the preview day. All reprints and enlargements will be at the price current at the time of the wedding.
  4. A deposit of £300 is required to be settled on the placement of the booking.
  5. The balance outstanding on the basic wedding price will be paid TWO MONTHS prior to the date of the wedding.
  6. Colour photography is undertaken within the technical limitations of the process and certain colours may not necessarily be facsimile over the whole range of colours within a subject. Prints made at different times may be variable in colour balance. Please note that some fabrics such as two-tone taffeta/satin react differently in some lighting conditions and can cause the colour of the dresses to change, giving incorrect colour beyond the photographer’s control – it is advisable therefore not to choose this kind of fabric – please discuss with the photographer if you are in any doubt, as she cannot be held responsible for the natural colour deviation which may occur.
  7. Photographs may be used for Kate Lloyd Weddings or Kate Lloyd Photography publicity in electronic or printed form, without further discussion, although every attempt will be made to notify the client if this is planned to happen.
  8. Any customer failing to notify the photographer of a cancellation less than six months prior to the wedding shall forfeit the deposit and the same shall remain the property of the photographer.
  9. Although the photographer and her appointed agents shall exercise all reasonable skill, care and diligence in the discharge of their duties, it is understood that, in the event of any unforeseen circumstances causing loss of photographic record, the photographer will only be responsible for the return of all the money paid to date, although every effort will be made to retake the photographs.
  10. It is understood that the copyright of all and any photographs belongs to Kate Lloyd. No photographs may be copied or reproduced by any means photographic or otherwise by any person or machine other than by the photographer or her appointed agent.
  11. Kate Lloyd. may agree by prior arrangement to accept pre-payment in instalments PROVIDED it is understood that the money is non refundable in the event of a cancellation, although the amount paid can be used as credit against further photographic services offered by Kate Lloyd. .
  12. All orders for albums, reprints and enlargements must be paid for at the time of ordering.

Engagement

  1. The acceptance of the booking outlined on the booking form once completed is based on agreement by the client of the terms and conditions stated herein.
  2. All original negative/digital materials remain the property of the photographer.
  3. The price of the framed images, canvases, acrylics and/or album is guaranteed at the time of booking to the client provided that it is ordered and paid for on the viewing day.  All reprints and enlargements will be at the price current at the time of the portrait shoot.
  4. Provided that the wedding photography is to be done for the couple by Kate Lloyd Photography no deposit is required to secure the confirmation of the engagement shoot booking. This will have been confirmed by the payment of the wedding photography deposit of £300.00
  5. The engagement shoot itself is included in the wedding package and there is no additional cost except for a hair and makeup artist if arranged by Kate Lloyd Photography.
  6. One image may be used from the engagement shoot for either a sign – in sheet, stationery, such as invitations or thank you cards. If a sign in book is required with several images this will be priced individually and the payment must be made at the time the item is ordered.
  7. Individual images may be bought like portraits in the selection of formats offered for this purpose. Each will be individually prices and payment must be made at the time of the order.
  8. A web gallery can be arranged for the outputs selected from the shoot and individual prints may be bought at the usual specified rates.
  9. Although the photographer and her appointed agents shall exercise all reasonable skill, care and diligence in the discharge of their duties, it is understood that, in the event of any unforeseen circumstances causing loss of photographic record, the photographer will only be responsible for the return of all the money paid to date, although every effort will be made to retake the photographs.
  12. It is understood that the copyright of all and any photographs belongs to Kate Lloyd.  No photographs may be copied or reproduced by any means photographic or otherwise by any person or machine other than by the photographer or her appointed agent.
  13. Kate Lloyd may use the images for promotional and marketing purposes and a photographic release form will be provided for the subject’s signature.
  14. If there are constraints regarding such use of the images these must be discussed and if necessary the release form can be amended accordingly

Boudoir

  1. The acceptance of the booking outlined on the booking form once completed is based on agreement by the client of the terms and conditions stated herein.
  2. All original negative/electronic materials remain the property of the photographer.
  3. A booking fee of £250.00 is payable to secure the date
  4. Hair and Makeup artist can be booked through Kate Lloyd or by you. If through Kate there will be an additional fee to pay
  5. A variety of album types may be selected and individual prices will apply. The album selected will be priced on the basis of 10 pages (each two sides) including 19 with images and one with a title. The full cost will be payable at the time of ordering the album. Typical cost would be from £599.00
